The switch from art director to Key Account Manager

Marnix Van Buyten (36), I started my career as an art director at several communication agencies, including Kunstmaan. After that, I made the switch to Mediahuis, where I, as Key Account Manager, looked after brands such as Telenet, Sole Electrabel, Eneco, KPMG, Jumbo, Unibet, Kruidvat, and Coolblue. Daarna maakte ik de overstap naar Mediahuis, waar ik als Key Accountmanager merken als Telenet, Enige Electrabel, Eneco, KPMG, Jumbo, Unibet, Kruidvat en Coolblue onder mijn hoede had.  

Getting started at S1 in exciting times is the new challenge.

Growing as a media agency both externally and internally

S1 recently divested its operations in Asia to focus on local growth. At the beginning of 2021, the agency also recruited the former marketing specialist of Panos Ab Polspoel as Strategy & Business Development Lead. Zo wierf het bureau begin 2021 ook de voormalig marketingspecialist van Panos Ab Polspoel aan als Strategy & Business Development Lead.

Not only is the team growing, but also the tools we use to manage and study the advertising market are growing: S1 has partnered (with exclusive Benelux) with My Telescope, a Swedish pioneer of Share of Search technology.
